Hi! My name is Andrew Thompson and I'm from a small town called Sawtell, on the beautiful North-East Coast of Australia. I've been interested in all aspects of fishing, occasionally taking time to catch a few myself. Through my interests in fishing and after several failed attempts to find the ultimate, I decided if I wanted the best I'd make it myself. Ten years later, after mastering the art of fishing rod construction and the detailed artistic ability of 'Thread Art', I found I can offer my experience to customise fishing rods to cater for every individual taste.
What is Thread Art, you may ask??
Where threads are placed at strategic points to combine and form intricate patterns. Patterns such as, chevrons, diamonds, arrows, crosses, illusions and many more may be created to customize and personalise a specific rod.
What is Weave Art, you may ask??
Where threads are laid and woven to form a pattern such as fish and animal designs. Colour threads are used to create life like form. Any pattern can be created this way.
